Dr. John Ickowicz began practicing in North Bellmore in 2014, after taking over Dr. William Jelley’s Family Dentistry Practice. Prior to that, he has spent nine years practicing general dentistry on Long Island. He attended Lafayette College where he attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He continued on to New York University to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2005 followed by a general practice residency at New York Hospital Queens, where he received the honor of Resident of the Year.

In an effort to fully and better serve his patients, Dr. Ickowicz attends many continuing education courses to stay current on the latest trends and procedures. He is proficient in all forms of general dentistry, pediatrics, cosmetics, restorative and surgical implantology and Invisalign. Dr. Ickowicz has recently spent 4 years at New York University College of Dentistry’s Surgical and Prosthetic program to further expand his ability in the areas of surgical tooth extraction and implant placement, among other many restorative procedures that are offered to all of his patients in the comfort of his office. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
